AV Field Support Technician - Career Snapshot

As an audiovisual Support Technician you will be part of a multipurpose team responsible for daily activities of service and support to Spinitar’s internal and external customers. The role will consist of support on behalf of both the customer and team, and will demonstrate a great level of expertise in audio, visual, communication systems, and solutions.

Skills AV Field Support Technician
Must Have:

  • 2+ years of A/V experience or a graduate of a two-year electronics technology program
  • A deep interest in A/V and the ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent customer service skills with customer facing experience 
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Solid computer software skills including MS Office applications
  • Self-motivated and a committed to achieve high competency and productivity levels
  • The ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Tact and good sound judgment when dealing with Spinitar’s internal and external customers
  • Efficient in planning and scheduling for on-site and remote support

Preferred, but not required:

  • Professional certifications, such as CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I
  • Commercial AV experience
  • Strong video, audio control systems, IT and/or networking experience is a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or electronics
