SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA, June 7, 2000 - SPINITAR Presentation Products Inc., a provider of enterprise-wide videoconferencing and interactive streaming media products and services will design, engineer and exhibit the largest integrated media pavilion at INFOCOMM International in Anaheim, CA, June 15-17, called the "Videoconference Connection". The pavilion will provide a hands-on virtual tour through the latest trends and technologies in multi-vendor interoperability in mixing H.323, H.320, MCUs, gatekeepers, gateways, various endpoints and interactive streaming media within a single organization and network system.

At the "Videoconference Connection" (VCC) pavilion there will be demonstrations of comfortable, cost effective and productive solutions such as remote teaching, "local" remote teaching, interactive web conferencing, and the future of conferencing to ICIA members. "In this featured pavilion and at our booth we will walk you through the evolving stages of growing your videoconferencing applications to connect your
organization creating a 'virtual enterprise', explained Linda Savoie, Vice President,
Marketing for SPINITAR. "We'll start with the simplest of solutions, a point-to-point call from a home-based employee somewhere in the U.S. doing work with their corporate office. We will then migrate by adding endpoints and options such as gateways, gatekeepers and MCUs and various operating systems all the while building toward a completely integrated multi-vendor solution mixing H.323 or TCP/IP network-based solutions with ISDN and streaming video as necessary. It's very exciting and cutting-edge."

Various vendors and experts will present and showcase specific end-user applications every hour focusing on the type of technology used, the integration of the solution and specific case studies including the point-to-point experience using three platforms, the notebook, desktop and set-top; a mid-range multi-point video collaboration session; an virtual classroom; and a high-end integrated multi-point boardroom application. "There is great excitement in dealing with various business partners to create a venue for multi-vendor compatibility and interoperability. Dozens of different products and services will be showcased including CISCO Systems, Sony, PictureTel, and CUSeeMe Networks integrated with traditional A/V gear such as AMX, Extron, RGB Spectrum and Fujitsu," explained Ron Carels, Systems Engineer, Videoconferencing, for SPINITAR. "One of the objectives of the VCC pavilion is to show that IP videoconferencing is a reality and mixing brands, applications and technology is often necessary. However, many products are standards-based and if your vendor has the knowledge to engineer and integrate them, you've got a powerful cost-effective solution."
