TeleCon 2000, Booth #147, Hall C SPINITAR Showcases Integrated Multi-Display, IP-based Video Conferencing Controlled by New Panja 15-inch TouchPanel at TeleCon West 2000 SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. - Dec. 4, 2000 - An industry leader in systems integration design, SPINITAR Presentation Products, Inc. will take audio-visual systems to new levels at TeleCon West 2000, being held Dec. 6 - 8 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. Demonstrating turnkey solutions and resources for video conferencing, SPINITAR will feature the new Panja 15-inch ViewTouch Control Panel as part the latest emerging technology for integration display and control systems. Partnering with Panja to introduce this major new control device, Spinitar will link together several single and dual output display devices including plasma screens, whiteboard plasma touch screens, data monitors and a rear projection systems (RPS) to demonstrate a three-point IP-based video conferencing call, including PictureTel and Polycom group conferencing. Currently, most video conferencing systems support only two-way connections, but when coupled with SPINITAR's systems integration design, signals may be switched and sent to any of the linked interoperable display devices using Panja's ViewTouch Panel. "The SPINITAR booth will simulate the highest video conferencing integration resources currently available," said Linda Savoie, vice president of marketing for SPINITAR Presentation Products, Inc. "We will simulate a multi-point H.323 call with five display devices, including plasma and a seven foot retro projection system. Adding Panja's new ViewTouch Panel control device, customers will be able to see how easy this technology is to use." The new ViewTouch panel, which can also be combined with Panja's TPI Touch Panel Interface, allows for easy viewing of high-resolution control graphics across a variety of video conferencing applications. For the demonstration, SPINITAR will debut Panja's new 15-inch model, which offers control of up to three video/graphic windows from one integrated LCD touchscreen, with each window able to support full-frame rate video and computer graphics instantly scalable from thumbnail to full-screen views. SPINITAR will also be joined by representatives from several of their technology partners, including Panja, PictureTel, JVC, Fujitsu, Pioneer, CUSeeMe and Extron, which have united with SPINITAR to demonstrate the new three-way video conferencing system. Featured at SPINITAR's booth will also be the PictureTel 970 displayed on a 50-inch plasma using Smart Technologies Matisse interactive touchscreen whiteboard, the PictureTel 970 displayed on a custom designed retro projection system, and a Polycom system displayed on a 42-inch Fujitsu plasma complete with Samsung 6000 document camera.
